[ZD21] Incidence of foodborne diseases
Key message
Okužbe s hrano ali črevesne nalezljive bolezni (ČNB) ostajajo pomemben javnozdravstveni problem v Sloveniji in tudi globalno. Incidenco okužb s hrano oziroma ČNB v Sloveniji podobno kot v drugih državah ocenjujemo na osnovi prejetih prijav črevesnih nalezljivih bolezni.
Incidenca ČNB oziroma okužb s hrano se je v letu 2024 v primerjavi z letom 2023 zvišala za 28 %, pri čemer so virusne okužbe črevesja najpogostejše. Med bakterijskimi povzročitelji prevladujejo kampilobaktri, Clostridioides difficile, salmonele in patogene E.coli. Svetovna zdravstvena organizacija ocenjuje, da vsako leto zaradi okužb s hrano zboli vsaj eden od desetih ljudi po svetu, kar predstavlja veliko breme za javno zdravje.
