Key message
Neutral

The public's attitude towards environmentally friendly transportation is not improving. The car remains the primary mode of transportation regardless of distance and purpose, and the use of public transport is not significantly increasing. The main reasons for not using public transport are the lack of accessibility, manifested through poor schedules, inadequate connections, and overall transportation unavailability. A significant factor is also the time consumption. However, some optimism remains as households are willing to use public transport to a greater extent and engage in carpooling or ridesharing.

Note:

When analyzing the results, we need to consider that in 2019, respondents could only choose one mode of transportation, while in previous measurements (2010-2017), and they could select multiple options simultaneously.
