Key message
Good

The vast majority of registered personal vehicles are still powered by conventional fuels (petrol and diesel). The proportion of vehicles with alternative propulsion systems has doubled from 2019 to 2022, yet it remains very small. More optimism stems from the predictions of respondents to the Slovenian Energy Efficiency Survey – REUS regarding the future purchase of vehicles with alternative propulsion, as well as from statistical data on newly registered personal vehicles last year, when the share of newly registered vehicles with alternative propulsion exceeded one quarter of all newly registered vehicles for the first time.
