KAZALCI OKOLJA

Key message
Bad

One possible explanation for this decline is changing of eating habits. The results of the research show that the greatest environmental impacts have meat products (beef, pork and poultry) and dairy products (cheese, milk and butter). The number of agricultural holdings with organic farming in Slovenia is slowly increasing, but the growth dynamics of organic production is not satisfactory. Also, the structure of organic production in Slovenia does not correspond to demand, which is the highest in vegetables, fruits, milled and dairy products, while livestock and grassland are predominant in cultivation.
