Environmental indicators are based on graphs, maps and assessments and as such present environmental trends in Slovenia. One possible explanation for this decline is changing of eating habits. The results of the research show that the greatest environmental impacts have meat products (beef, pork and poultry) and dairy products (cheese, milk and butter). The number of agricultural holdings with organic farming in Slovenia is slowly increasing, but the growth dynamics of organic production is not satisfactory.
