The share of RES in transport increased for the third year in a row and in 2019 amounted to 8%. That was lower than the annual target in the National Renewable Energy Action Plan 2010−2020 (NREAP) and represents a delay on the path to the 2020 target under Directive 2009/28/EU. In order to achieve the 2020 target, consistent implementation of the measures adopted in the NREAP will be required.
